Caroline was born in Shreveport, LA on April 30, 1963. She earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1985 and a M.E. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1993.
Caroline joined GE in 1984 and has held increasing leadership positions including assignments in new product introduction, manufacturing, business re-engineering, information management systems, and quality. She is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
In 2000, Caroline was promoted to President and COO of Global Nuclear Fuel Americas, LLC, a joint venture of GE, Hitachi and Toshiba. She was responsible for a team of 1000 employees, delivering sales for the Americas and Europe’s nuclear fuel market. Caroline was named President and General Manager of GE Energy Rentals, Inc. in 2001. She was the leader of GE’s new distributed power rentals business with a workforce in 43 global locations. In 2003, Caroline was promoted to President & CEO, GE Energy Parts Inc., a global organization delivering over 250,000 parts each year for GE’s fleet of power generation equipment.
Caroline joined GE Sensing in 2005, as President and CEO. She became President and CEO of both GE Sensing and Inspection Technologieis in October 2006.
