European X-ray Application Center

The European X-ray Center, located in Ahrensburg, Germany, offers a wide range of radiographic and radioscopic solutions for industrial and analytical X-ray applications.

Our laboratories are equipped with the state-of-the-art X-ray solutions.

Difficult test tasks are examined in our application laboratories and by doing this test systems are developed tailored to customer requirements.
We have two laboratories equipped with the latest equipment:

Portable X-ray

  • ISOVOLT TITAN 160, 225, 450
  • 160 kV micro-focus tube

Detectors

  • VISTALUX image intensifiers
  • XRD 0840 and PaxScan 2520 flat panel detectors
  • DXR 250-RT and DXR 500/1000 flat panel detectors

Software

  • VISTAPLUS, image enhancement for image intensifiers (CCIR and HDTV)
  • RHYTHM-Workstation with high resolution monochromatic monitor
  • SABA 3000 for ADR

X-ray Systems

  • Vistalux image intensifiers
  • DP 351 manipulator for SABA applications
  • DP 416 for 3D computed tomography (CT) up to 225 kV
  • X-CUBE, DP 489

Typical areas of application include the detection of lack of fusion in welds, crack detection, imaging of internal parts (i.e. in the automotive industry).
