RIGHTRAX M2

The RIGHTRAX M2 comprises 14-element Copolymer flexible ultrasonic sensor that features a self adhesive ultrasonic bond. The complete sensor, including the electronics module is capable of operating at temperatures in excess of 120ºC (250ºF) continouously. Each transducer element within the film is accessed by means of the small control module that is part of the complete sensor.

The RIGHTRAX M2 is environmentally sealed and is simply connected to by means of a single high temperature coaxial cable and IP 68 sealed connector.

The RIGHTRAX M2 sensor has been approved to the following specifications:
- Ex II 3 G
- Ex nA II T6 (-20<Tp,85ºC)
- Ex nA II T6 (-20<Tp,100ºC)
- Ex nA II T6 (-20<Tp,120ºC)

This module contains a microcontroller to perform the following key elements.

  • Selection from 1 of 14 ultrasonic elements.
  • Connection to the built-in calibration block.
  • Access to the user definable memory for entry of site I.D. and ultrasonic velocity of host material.
  • Interrogation of the built-in temperature sensor.
  • Adjustable to pipe sizes down to 153 mm (6 in).
