RWP - Rail Axle Tester

RWP is an ultrasonic Phased Array testing system used to inspect wheel set axle for (transversal-oriented) cracks in the maintenance shop.

Product Features

  • Test of used wheel and brake disk seats without dismantling wheels or brake disks
  • Replaces several angle beam probes by one Phased Array probe
  • Cycle time approximately 5 minutes
  • No mechanical adjustment for changing to another type of wheel set is necessary

  • Evaluation software to display color-coded developed views of the tested areas
