X-ray Tube Housing

GE Inspection Technologies offers the full range of 160 and 225kV unipolar, and 320 to 450kV bipolar metal-ceramic X-ray tubes with different focal spots for various industrial applications.

Cooling Pumps

Water cooling pumps are used for direct cooling of ISOVOLT unipolar tube housings. They are designed to facilitate anode heat dissipation of bipolar X-ray tubes. They are used in cases in which a direct connection to the water supply is impossible or economically not feasible. They should also be used when contamination or high lime concentration in the water supply prohibits use of direct cooling.

Water-recooled oil circulation pumps are used for cooling of ISOVOLT bipolar tube housings. They are designed to facilitate anode heat dissipation of unipolar X-Ray tubes. Air-recooled oil circulation pumps are used when for economical or technical reasons a recooling of the tube-cooling oil from the water supply is not feasible.

X-Ray Warning Flash Lamp with "Fail-Safe Circuit"

When X-rays are being generated from an X-ray tube, there must be a clear and safe indication of this hazardous condition. All Seifert controls are equipped with multiple warning facilities, including the "High Voltage ON" indication lamp on the control panel.

While other external warning lamps might fail due to a defective bulb or other reasons, this "High Voltage ON" lamp is connected in a fail-safe circuit causing the high voltage to be interrupted in the event of bulb burnout or other malfunction.

Three-Phase Interlock Switch

A primary interlock switch is used in radiation protection cabinets and rooms in conjunction with doors and flaps that can be opened under regular operative conditions, if the power supply of the X-ray radiating unit must be interrupted in the primary current circuit and if this disconnection through an interlock circuit must be physically linked to said doors and flaps.

Tripod Stand

The tripod stand was developed to support the X-ray tubehousing at various inspection tasks (site inspection or similar). It allows a simple and quick alignment of the X-ray tube to various exposure positions.
