Standard NDT Radiographic Film
Agfa NDT radiographic film family builds on two critical facets of Agfa advanced film technology: High-quality images and rugged performance. Agfa NDT films' reputation for excellence is the result of GE Inspection Technologies' continuous striving for the highest product quality.
Optimum Image Quality
Agfa NDT films maintain a crucial edge over other leading films due to an emulsion breakthrough that provides increased contrast and maximum clarity of detail. Even the tiniest details can be seen clearly and interpreted easily. And we've given the image a pleasant blue tint to make it easy to read. New international standards for film performance are currently being introduced. These standards use objective, measurable parameters to express the quality a user can expect from a particular system, a combination of film, processing type and chemicals.
Quality Through Design Innovation: Protective Coating
An important feature in the Agfa NDT films is a special protective top coating resulting directly from Agfa NDT's Split Antistress Layer (SAL) technology. This top coat gives the Agfa NDT films unique high resistance to pressure, scratching and creasing. Another advantage of the top coat is that surface roughness has been optimized for problemfree processing in automatic feeders such as the Agfa NDT Film Feeder.
The emulsion coatings are covered by two separate antistress layers (3+4).To achieve a rugged surface, the top layer has received the matting agent.
